What You’ll Do

Bring a whole new swing to your usual brunch thing in this exciting in-person cooking class from Chef Susie. You'll prepare a spread that ramps up the flavor quotient for a midday meal your friends and family will rave about!

Your lesson includes a session on that perennial brunch favorite, quiche. Learn to prepare a perfect blend of proteins, veggies and eggs in a tender egg base for a quiche creation that will dazzle your guests. You'll also create chiliquiles using corn tortiallas, eggs and red chile sauce to add a spicy Mexican twist to your menu.

Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer from the venue to enjoy during the class.

The chef didn’t seem very prepared. There were no cutting boards, not enough ingredients to make pasta for everyone, we had to use a plastic utensil spoon to cook the sauce on the stove top and there was no blender to make the pesto. She even tried to strain eggs... She ran out of time and cooked some store bought and some fresh made pasta together in one pot which wasn’t even boiling so the pasta wasn’t cooked enough. I could have made a better meal at my own home, it was nowhere near the expectation for a chef-made pasta and we didn’t learn many skills to use at home. I don’t know if she was vetted before she joined Class Pop but this was not at all what we’d expect out of a cooking class. There were no tangible cooking lessons to take from this and the food was barely edible.

Not prepared and not sure she knew what she was doing. It was an experience but more comical than anything. Not at all cooking with a hot plate no tools for the class think she though she was making one meal for 10 strangers to share and all help prepare together. Very strange.
