Cooking Class: Sushi Making 101

With over two decades of sushi-making expertise stretching from California to Boston, Chef Harold is ready to share his knowledge with you. This sushi fundamentals class is free of gluten, nuts and dairy, and focuses on medium inside-out rolls, or uramaki, and hand rolls, or temaki. Begin the hands-on class with miso soup, then move on to mastering sushi rolling. You'll start with a shrimp tempura hand roll, then craft an uramaki roll filled with avocado, cucumber and carrot. To finish, you'll learn the secrets to making a spicy tuna roll. 


Cooking classes are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.

Absolutely loved this experience!! Chef Harold was such a delight and really knew how to teach us what to do. He took us through the whole process from where to buy the fish, to how to massage the sushi roll at the end.
