Cooking Class: Stunning Charcuterie
Learn how to craft an artisan charcuterie board in this cooking class with Chef Susie. To begin, Chef Susie will help you uncover the origins of cheese and teach you how to create the perfect cheese pairings with wine or beer. Then, you'll prepare spicy mixed nuts, bacon ribbons and a mixed berry compote before diving into the board building. Finally, Chef Susie will share with you the best presentation practices and techniques as you create a stunning charcuterie board featuring all sorts of cured meats, antipasto and even some chocolate-covered fruit. By the time the class concludes, you'll have mastered the art of charcuterie and be ready to impress your friends and family at your next dinner party.

Meet your chef
Chef Susie began her culinary journey as a trained nutritionist before shifting to teaching others how to cook. In addition to working with celebrity cookbook authors and food reporters, she counts preparing food for Michelle Obama among the highlights of her career. Chef Susie has an abiding curiosity for the ways in which science intersects with cooking and takes great pleasure in teaching others to create healthy, flavorful dishes.
