Cooking Class: Southern Comfort Brunch
In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Megan, you will learn how to prepare a four-course Southern-style brunch using a bounty of fresh, high-quality ingredients.
You will begin this class with freshly squeezed fruit juice, a deviled egg appetizer and a seasonal fruit salad of melon and berries dressed with lime and mint. Then, Chef Megan will dive into teaching you how to prepare an all-star lineup of Southern comfort food brunch favorites: home fries seasoned with bell peppers and jalapeños, pimento cheddar cheese grits and fresh buttermilk biscuits smothered in sausage gravy.

This was so FUN. Megan has such a great personality and made the session super engaging. Her whit and humor kept us in stitches, while learning the how's and why's behind food prep for a delicious meal. We definitely want to take another class with her!! Great class!

Meet your chef
Chef Megan is a professionally-trained classical chef with a passion for fine food. She has over ten years of professional cooking experience and has worked in culinary positions including chef, recipe developer and cooking class instructor. Currently, she hosts private cooking classes and works as a sous chef at a local gourmet food truck. In addition to these roles, Chef Megan is also working on her own cooking show.
