Cooking Class: Master Vegan-Style Ramen
Discover that ramen noodles can be savory and comforting without animal products in this engaging vegan cooking class. Culinary expert Chef Megan will guide you in mastering vegan takes on traditional dishes that are easy to recreate at home.
Begin by crafting an earthy green bean dish and tangy, crunchy cucumber salad for your appetizers. Pair freshly-made noodles with a rich, flavorful broth simmering with miso, ginger and garlic for your ramen. Chef Megan will guide you in cooking a savory tofu chashu as a hearty vegan meat substitute. Add in fresh vegetables and seasonings to complete a restaurant-worthy bowl. For dessert, enjoy a traditional Japanese street-food favorite: fun fish-shaped pancakes filled with sweet red bean paste.
