Cooking Class: Savory Roast Chicken Dinner
Prepare a traditional roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Megan. You'll learn how to prepare a classic American three-course feast focused on a tender roast chicken centerpiece. To start, you'll enjoy a roasted beet salad featuring orange, thyme and goat cheese. Then, you'll move on to the main course and cook up a delicious homestyle roast chicken seasoned with lemon and herbs, which you'll serve alongside the traditional sides of creamy mashed potatoes and green beans. Lastly, your feast will end on a sweet note with an old-fashioned apple crisp for dessert.

Meet your chef
Chef Megan is a professionally-trained classical chef with a passion for fine food. She has over ten years of professional cooking experience and has worked in culinary positions including chef, recipe developer and cooking class instructor. Currently, she hosts private cooking classes and works as a sous chef at a local gourmet food truck. In addition to these roles, Chef Megan is also working on her own cooking show.
