Learn from Chef Megan how to combine bold, plant-based ingredients into zesty tacos featuring black beans on corn tortillas with curtido and cauliflower al pastor on flour tortillas with salsa verde. You'll also make a delectable guacamole with tortilla chips using fresh avocados, onion, jalapeño and pineapple. End on a sweet note with a creamy Mexican chocolate mousse crafted with silken tofu, chocolate, cinnamon and agave. Gain a handful of new skills to recreate these vibrant dishes at home.

Attending Chef Megan’s Southern Brunch cooking class was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, her warm and gracious demeanor set the tone for an inviting and relaxed atmosphere. She has a genuine gift for making everyone feel welcome, no matter their skill level in the kitchen. Chef Megan’s expertise extends well beyond cooking—she effortlessly weaves in helpful insights about gardening and quality cookware, offering practical tips that make her lessons both informative and enjoyable. The food itself was nothing short of phenomenal—from the deviled eggs, fruit salad, biscuits and gravy, and skillet potatoes—authentic Southern flavor and perfectly executed. It was more than just a class; it was a memorable culinary journey led by someone who clearly loves what she does. I really enjoyed the garden tour, tips, and harvesting. I left inspired, full, and already looking forward to my next experience with Chef Megan.

Chef Megan is a professionally-trained classical chef with a passion for fine food. She has over ten years of professional cooking experience and has worked in culinary positions including chef, recipe developer and cooking class instructor. Currently, she hosts private cooking classes and works as a sous chef at a local gourmet food truck. In addition to these roles, Chef Megan is also working on her own cooking show.
