Cooking Class: Ayurvedic Cooking: Be a Health-Food Guru

Balance proteins, carbs, vegetables and spices with the ancient art of Ayurvedic cuisine. In this in-person cooking class, Chef Parsati will teach you how to make five healthy and perfectly balanced Ayurvedic recipes. You'll begin with a probiotic-filled cucumber mint and kefir cooler. Next, you'll prepare tofu sizzlers, the porridge-like rainbow khichdi with ghee and a fresh and colorful brinjal salsa with eggplant. Dessert is millet kheer with saffron, date syrup and dried fruit.

I had an amazing experience with Chef Parsati during her Indian cooking class. She was incredibly patient, explaining everything thoroughly. It was an honor to be welcomed into her home, sharing not just recipes but her rich culture. Sitting down with fellow participants to enjoy the delicious meal we cooked created a warm, communal atmosphere.
