Cooking Class: An Intro to French Cooking

Chef William brings the rich culinary history and je ne sais quoi of French cuisine to you in this hands-on cooking class. Learn techniques for approaching intimidating dishes like a pro as you master four French classics. 


In this class, you'll begin with a salade Niçoise with lemon-tarragon vinaigrette topped with seared tuna, haricots verts, tomatoes and potatoes. From there, learn to prepare an iconic dish from scratch: coq au vin with mushrooms and bacon lardons, served with demi-glace pommes fondant. Dessert is two decadent Parisian favorites: dark chocolate pots de crème and black cherry clafoutis and espresso.

We loved the class! Chef William gave clear direction, context and demonstrations during the lesson. He made us feel completely comfortable and answered all of our questions. Added bonus, he does all the dishes! Highly recommend this class.

Chef William was wonderful! Not only did we have a superb meal, we learned SO much from cooking to even pan prep. In short, it was an incredible experience with lively and fun conversation. I have already recommended him to all my friends and look forward to booking another session in the future. My husband and I chose the French cuisine and it was better than I even imagined.
