Cooking Class: Pasta Making at a Colorado Springs Distillery
Take a trip to Italy without passport in this cooking class with Chef Juwanza!
In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Juwanza will teach you the art of making fresh pasta from scratch and pairing it with rich, flavorful sauces. Start by mixing semolina flour, eggs and olive oil to create the perfect pasta dough. Learn how to knead, roll and shape it into classic pasta forms. Chef Juwanza is great but the class was not what we signed up for. The description made it sound like we'd make sauce and noodles, but when we got there Chef admitted he wasn't sure what the online description said but we'd only be making noodles. I picked the class to learn more practical skills like sauce making and wouldn't have gone if I'd known that wasn't included. Also, the finished product was unfortunately not very good - the noodles we spent 2 hours making were undercooked and mushy and the premade sauces they were served with were not good. I would not recommend this class.

Very informative! Chef Juwanza is an excellent teacher and really knows what he is doing. I feel confident that I could make sushi at home.

Chef Juwanza is very knowledgeable and the class was fun, but this location isn’t good. Way too much ambient noise from the bar. The class was also too big. Too many people and not enough equipment
