Master the time-honored techniques to make elevated sushi in this cooking class with Chef Andy.
First, practice your knife skills as you thinly slice Persian cucumbers to make a Japanese cucumber salad topped with toasted white sesame seeds. Chef Andy will choose a variety of fish to craft each handmade roll. Thinly slice wild-caught tuna, salmon or scallops to make a traditional sashimi. Then top seasoned sushi rice with Spanish mackerel, squid, salmon, uni or tuna to make nigiri. Finally, layer shrimp and scallions on a rice-lined nori sheet before hand rolling it into a maki roll. Finish with a drizzle of spicy aioli to create a spicy shrimp maki roll. Book your class today!

My wife and I had fun with Chef Andy's assistant for The Bear themed class. Even took home a jar of our own giardiniera. This would be a good class for absolute beginners. My wife has done a lot of cooking so we would look for a more advanced class next time.
