Join Chefs Vivian and Michi in this hands-on cooking class as you master the fundamental skills to prepare a variety of sushi rolls and authentic Japanese dishes. First, you'll prepare a classic miso soup. Then, you'll use your skills to create two delicate sushi rolls; an authentic Temaki hand roll, and a velvety Alaskan roll with smoked salmon, cream cheese and scallions. A Japanese double-baked sweet potato will be served for dessert.

Chef Vivian and Chef Michi were beyond welcoming. We had absolutely no sushi making experience going into it and after just a few hours, feel confident that we can prepare a meal for our friends. Recipes are delicious and easy. My husband and I truly enjoyed the night and highly recommend their class.

Great class! Purchased this to celebrate my anniversary with my boyfriend. He loved it and we both learned tons of skills! The food was delicious and Chef Vivian and Michi are great teachers and made us feel welcomed. Definitely recommend!

They don’t call it “sushi making secrets” for nothing. We learned sooo much and the sushi and desert was really good. The chefs were really nice and personable. They definitely put in the 10,000 hours to know what they’re talking about. My mom said it was her best birthday ever!!!!

The cooing class was great! It was so much fun to cook together, everything was well explained, so that you don't need to be an excellent cook ;-) Vivian and Michi were amazing, we enjoyed them so much it was beyond our expectations.

The posting should make the time zone clearer. I signed up for what I thought was a 7 pm class only to discover it was 10 pm Eastern time so i could not attend.

Chefs were very nice but the venue was not. Restaurant setting with long table. Soccer World Cup playing on several TVs. I could barely hear the instructions. Menu was extremely basic even for a beginners class. Fortunately class was half price. Had I paid full price I would have been very disappointed

Best date night! My traditional sushi night just changed forever! Both Chef Vivian and Michi were amazing. My sushi rolls came out so tasty. Not the prettiest but practice will make them better. Loved every second of it! Definitely recommend as a fun interactive event with friends, family or couples.

Such an incredible experience! Chef Vivian and Chef Michi were so humble and made us feel so welcomed. Their professionalism and expertise exceeded our expectations. Not only did we learn a new recipe but they taught us so many great cooking tips we will use in our future cooking ventures. Both chefs guided us patiently throughout the whole class and made sure we were comfortable. We are definitely coming back for another class!

Chefs Vivian and Michi were delightful hosts/instructors! We booked them for a small corporate team building event (10ish people). They were fun, engaging, patient and knowledgeable.... our group had a fantastic time. Highly recommended! PS, the drinks and food were delicious!

It was a fun selection of food items. Sadly, the ingredients were not all listed nor some of the amounts. During the class, there were items that were not mentioned in the directions. I had hoped to hear more from Michi's experience with the food in Japan- he did not have much time to talk. Finally, we seemed to end class about 20 minutes early and a slower pace may have been helpful.
