Cooking Class: Gourmet American Steakhouse Dinner
Skip the reservation, and learn how to prepare your own gourmet American steakhouse meal in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Ivan. Using smart cooking techniques and fresh ingredients, you'll cook up a delicious multi-course meal, just like you'd get at a professional steakhouse.
Chef Ivan will first teach you how to prepare steaming mushrooms stuffed with a creamy goat cheese, chive and bacon filling. Next, you'll learn the secret to grilling up the perfect skirt steak garnished with salsa verde, parsley, anchovies, capers, lemons and an extra virgin olive oil drizzle! You'll then prepare enticing side dishes of fried green tomatoes and apple coleslaw to serve alongside the show-stopping steak centerpiece. Lastly, to conclude your steakhouse dinner, you'll whip up a rich molten chocolate cake topped with homemade vanilla gelato.

Chef Stefano was amazing! Was a great activity - where you’re learning to make homemade pasta and creating authentic recipes in a relaxed and totally enjoyable atmosphere! Highly recommend for family, friends and couples.

Meet your chef
Chef Ivan began attending culinary school at the tender age of 14. His adventures in the world of food preparation took him through Europe and eventually brought him to New York, where he manages a catering company and volunteers teaching children's cooking classes. With a focus on sushi, Italian and French cuisines, Chef Ivan is always excited to share novel kitchen techniques with his guests and students.
