Learn the art of pie-making in this fun, interactive cooking class with Chef Madi. She’ll teach you all her secrets: how to craft flaky and buttery crust, how to mix ingredients for optimal taste and texture, and how to properly bake beautiful masterpieces. Using seasonal ingredients, you’ll capture the warm, comforting flavors of fall and winter. You’ll first practice balancing sweetness and seasoning with a smooth and sweet potato pie — a staple of the American South. Next, you’ll prepare a pecan pie with a sticky, nutty filling. To finish, Chef Madi will teach you how to blend a variety of spices to make a decadent pumpkin pie.
