Cooking Class: South American Culinary Techniques

Enjoy the flavors of traditional South American cuisine in this engaging cooking class. Chef David will guide you through three courses of South American dishes, teaching you the techniques along the way. 


To begin the class, make Traditional Tiradito, slice fish flavored with lemon, cilantro and a spicy marinade known as leche de tigre. Next, craft a traditional Peruvian stir fry, lomo saltado, with steak, onions and potatoes. 


To finish the meal, craft a decadent passion fruit mousse made with condensed milk and chocolate for dessert.

A Peruvian stir-fry with filet mignon steak, aji amarillo, onions, tomatoes, potatoes and sauce

We had an amazing time learning from Chef David. He came to teach us to make healthy Peruvian food for a date night at home. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about food. He is also very funny and easy to talk to. Since he was here, we gave made the dishes he’s taught us twice and they were a hit with the whole family.
