Great class! So informative and patient! We had a lot of dietary restrictions and she just went with the flow and made happen! I appreciate her and her hubby and her two dogs! Also, I have a tip!

Chef Gilzel is wonderful. I love sushi but I wanted to learn more about it and she was an excellent teacher. She took her time explaining different cuts of fish and how to select the right ingredients, and explained the underlying flavor profiles of each ingredient and how adding different things would change or elevate the dish in certain ways. She is clearly very well versed in all things sushi and it shows! I highly recommend Chef Gilzel if you're interested in learning about techniques and flavors - she was fantastic and I hope to work with her again soon.
