Cooking Class: Romantic Surf and Turf Dinner

Spice up the kitchen in this hands-on cooking class led by Chef Robert as he guides you through the art of a romantic surf and turf dinner. 


First you'll prepare a rich and buttery array of oysters Rockefeller, before making a fresh panzanella salad with oil-blistered tomatoes. For the main course, you'll prepare traditional surf and turf with red wine jus with seared beef tenderloin, and poached Argentinian langoustines. Finish your meal with a decadent dessert deemed the Chocolate Discovery with white chocolate mousse, berries and milk chocolate truffles.

I dislike the fact that Golden Apron doesn't remind it's users of their appointments until after the cancellation window has expired... BUT... Chef Robert and Miss Chef easily made up for my disappointment with Golden Apron. They are fun & spectacular -- friendly, outgoing, and funny! They set up the class so that we were constantly and seamlessly cooking and eating. We had low expectations given the Golden Apron snafu, but we were super impressed by the class. Absolutely delicious, and we learned a little, too!
