Cooking Class: Passport to Spain
Chef Daniel's hands-on cooking class will transport you to sunny Spain and build up your confidence in the kitchen. Learn how to approach paella, the national dish of Spain, as well as a tempting array of traditional tapas that bring a modern twist to bold, Old World flavors.
In this fun, informative class, you'll brush up on your knife skills and learn everything you need to know about the rice varietals and exotic spices that comprise the perfect paella. Start by learning to prepare a classic Catalan pan con tomate and setas al ajillo, and then move on to mastering a decadent seafood paella. Conclude your tour of Spain with a silky dulce de leche flan, prepared in advance by Chef Daniel.

This was such a great experience and Chef Daniel made it fun and interesting. I learned so much about cooking in general with different ingredients to being out the flavor! I would definitely do another class and highly recommend this one. The food was delicious!

Chef Daniel hails from Argentina, a country known for its vibrant blend of cultures. He’s lived in Los Angeles for the past 35 years, exploring a rich diversity of cuisines that informs his ingredients and techniques on a daily basis. Chef Daniel aims to teach his students the fundamentals of cooking, in hopes that they will one day grow beyond his recipes to discover a culinary world all their own.
