Cooking Class: Classic Indonesian Dishes
In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Titik, you'll learn how to prepare an impressive five-course Indonesian spread, authentic to the country.
First, you'll start with a healthy sayur urap Indonesian salad with shredded coconut, and bold shrimp and potato in balado sauce. Then, you'll learn how to make a spicy and hearty beef rendang, a classic beef stew, paired with a fragrant nasi kuning yellow rice with lemongrass and coconut milk. End class with an exotic Indonesian bread pudding with vanilla ice cream and mango-berry compote

Chef Titik provided an unbelievable culinary experience! My fiancé and I did the Indonesian Fusion Flare class and enjoyed every minute of it. Chef Titik’s class is a perfect blend of hands on and visual learning for all levels and ages. The meal itself was one of the best meals we have had. The flavors and textures and dimension…truly amazing to taste and Chef Titik did an excellent job of showing us how easy it is to make. We cannot wait to try other meals with Chef Titik and share them with our family!

Meet your chef
Chef Titik's proud Indonesian heritage informs her life as much as her cooking. A graduate with honors from the Art Institute of California with degrees in culinary art, baking and pastry art, she hopes to impart her passion for food to her students as they learn to create incredible meals in a variety of cuisines ranging from Italian to Indian and beyond.
