Cooking Class: Sushi Trio for Beginners
If you've ever wanted to roll sushi like a pro, this hands-on cooking class is the way to go! Chef Alejandro is ready to share tips and tricks for making popular sushi rolls and choosing the freshest fish available.
You'll begin by learning how to prepare kappamaki with rice, nori and cucumber. Next up is a California roll with capelin roe, crab sticks and avocado. Then, you'll roll up a traditional salmon temaki with rice and nori. Dessert is a sweet scoop of mochi with mango and strawberries.

We had an excellent time at Chef Alejandro's class. He is extremely warm and welcoming, a great teacher, and makes you feel like you have known him forever. It was great fun, and I would recommend to anyone.

Meet your chef
With more than a decade of professional culinary experience to his credit, Chef Alejandro is a sushi itamae who learned the art of sushi in Venezuela. He continued his studies in three other countries before settling in the United States. Chef Alejandro currently hosts private events and teaches sushi-making classes for eager students.
