Cooking Class: Chicken Marsala Made Easy for Kids

Develop your little chef's kitchen skills in this hands-on cooking class. Chef Tonya will teach a beginner-friendly introduction to Italian cuisine, as well as techniques they can bring back to their own kitchen. They'll make a walnut and goat cheese mixture to stuff endives and drizzle with honey balsamic dressing. Then, make a rich chicken Marsala paired with either rice pilaf or angel hair pasta. On the side, they'll learn to make crisp and tender broccolini with almonds. Finish with a crunch almond biscotti with sweet gelato for dessert.

Chef Tanya's passion for cooking was ignited by her grandmother who taught her everything she knows about Puerto Rican cuisine. When she moved to New York with her family at the age of 12, a neighbor took her under his wing at his Italian restaurant where her love of food continued to grow. Fast forward to today and Chef Tanya can be found showing others how they can enjoy ethically diverse cuisine in a healthy and authentic way.
