You'll feel like you're dining at a fine Japanese restaurant in this upscale cooking class.
To start the class, you'll learn the secrets to making the perfect sushi rice with rice vinegar, sugar and kombu. Follow up with a savory miso soup made with a dashi broth and filled with silken tofu, green onions and wakame. Enjoy Chef Paul's sashimi selection with an assortment of Atlantic salmon and yellowfin tuna paired with spicy wasabi, pickled ginger and daikon. Top your sushi rice with salmon, tuna and ebi before finishing off with an unagi glaze. What an amazing experience. The entire evening was filled with great conversation and laughs, professional instruction on how to make our meal and the interactive nature of the class was so much fun! Chef Paul was great fun to spend the evening with. He walked us through shopping for ingredients, preparing the meal, enjoying the meal and even some lovely cultural tidbits. I look forward to more dinners and events with Chef Paul as he made for a truly memorable evening.

Meet your chef
After studying culinary arts in New Brunswick, Chef Paul began his luminous career as a professional chef specializing in Korean and Japanese food. He is a talented sushi chef and master of Korean BBQ, with a flair for crafting dishes that are both traditional yet delightfully modern. Chef Paul currently runs his own restaurant, but has also worked as a restaurant manager and private chef. Now, he's eager to share his knowledge and skill with you.
