Cooking Class: Fundamentals of Barbecue
Take your grilling skills to the next level in this backyard barbecue cooking class with Chef Logan. You’ll learn the essentials of barbecuing, working with different temperatures and more.
You'll grill cheddar and hickory sliders with homemade beef patties and Chef's secret sauce. Then, prepare braised baby back ribs with a smoky chipotle BBQ sauce, paired with smashed potato salad. For dessert, create a classic blueberry grunt with steamed buttermilk biscuits and blueberry coulis, served with ice cream. This menu can be made indoors if the weather doesn't cooperate.

Chef Logan was patient, calm and fun to work with. He answered all of our questions and made sure we understood what he was teaching. I highly recommend him for this class, and we feel we can competently make sushi rolls in the future.

Chef Logan is an experienced chef with a number of titles under his belt, from executive chef to director of team building exercises for a world-renowned food company. Chef Logan's background spans a diverse array of cuisines, although his specialty is Italian food. He prides himself on his homemade pizza, which he loves to share with his students. Not only does Chef Logan work with aspiring chefs of all abilities but also of any dietary persuasion, as he can easily accommodate allergies and intolerances.
