Seattle - filling vegetable dumplings Shot

In this fun cooking class, you'll get to make your very own Korean dumplings alongside a master chef. Chef Seamus will teach you valuable new culinary skills and a from-scratch recipe for authentic Korean dumplings.

You'll start out by combining simple ingredients to make a dough for dumpling wrappers. After rolling and shaping your wrappers, you'll whip up a savory filling to stuff them with. Finally, master the technique of intricately folding the dumpling wrappers into beautifully crafted gyozas that can be steamed or pan-fried.

Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase alcoholic beverages from the venue to enjoy during the class.

This was a perfect weeknight evening class. I don't have a ton of brain power after work but Seamus made the instructions easy to follow and I know I can recreate it at home.

I dont think the class was worth much. We mostly learnt to roll the dumplings. The filling was pre made and the dough was pre rolled out and the chef steamed everything for us. I was hoping for a more hands on cooking experience.

The chef was awesome. I thought he was a great teacher. Really the only issue I had was the lack of sanitary separation between dishes and others. If possible, please give everyone their own tools, and ingredients. Yes it’s more prep but it would have made the experience better. Sharing the same flour with 4-5 other groups who put their fingers in this lil cup was a little ehhh… yea. lol. But again Seamus was cool

I purchased the Gnocchi making class for my daughter for Christmas with the intention of being her plus one! The class was in a great location and chef Seamus was such a great instructor. He answered questions and gave us personal stories to give the class a friendly vibe. The Gnocchi was amazing as well! My only concern was with a few of the classmates that appeared to be maybe a little too hammered to be working with boiling water and flames. But Chef Seamus had a watchful eye and it was all good to the last bite! Can’t wait to try another class!

I love to cook, I have a garden, I have a food blog and I have a passion for cooking and good food, and it is extremely easy to say that Seamus knocked it out of the park. I would recommend him for any setting, any experience, any type of menu. He has a passion for good food, and ask him about his history of food and career experience. An incredibly interesting story, excited for what’s to come for him in his life. Congrats on your new venture seamus in the food industry, so happy we got to experience home cooking at your hand!!!!
