Explore flavor, texture and pairing techniques in this hands-on cheese tasting and cheese-making experience.
During the workshop, you'll taste four to five cheeses paired with beverages that complement the flavors. As you taste each cheese, you'll learn how to identify flavor notes and describe textures. With each cheese, you'll also enjoy pairings like rich wine, hoppy beer and fruity cider. Plus, discover why these combinations work so well and how to recreate them at home. After the tasting, it’s time to get creative with cheese. Use fresh herbs to craft an aromatic cheese spread, make honey or olive oil infusions or assemble your own custom cheese board to enjoy later.
