My finance and I enjoyed learning how to make sushi, and Birdie is an excellent teacher. It was a birthday gift experience for him that we'd never done before and would likely do again. On the downside, we weren't too happy with the last-minute change of menu that eliminated salmon, replacing it with cooked chicken to appease one person's food allergy. I've never had sushi with cooked chicken and won't ever again. Also, a bit more of a closing to the class would have been better than just finishing our sushi construction, packaging it up and then she was gone. I was hoping to hear that we could get the recipe for the sticky rice emailed to us, or suggestions of other combinations we might try on our own. All in all, though, it was a fun experience and I'm looking forward to trying sushi on my own.

This was a super fun class birdie was very fun and gave us a few laughs in between instructions. I met some new people and it was nice to mingle and watch everyone having fun rolling the sushi rolls. It was fun eating the finished product and the wine was amazing. Pinot was amazing. Everyone was very kind and I felt comfortable in the awesome wine room. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The class was definitely worth the experience. I now know how to roll sushi and the basics. However, my wife and I did not eat the rolls we made due to the lack of sanitary practice. Gloves were not used by the instructor when handling food. Seeing how she operated called into question her cleanliness when preparing the food that she brought. Like I said before, the experience and time spent with my wife was great.

My girlfriend and I took a sushi class with Chef Birdie and had a great time. She was very informative, professional, and made everything easy to understand. Her energy and sense of fun made the class relaxed and engaging. We learned a lot while still enjoying the experience. Highly recommend her class.

Birdie was an incredible chef tonight! She guided us through making sushi in such a fun and approachable way. The atmosphere she created made it easy to ask questions and share laughs throughout the evening. I’d definitely love to take another class with her!

Not what I expected. Told how to make buttercream frosting. No mention of cream cheese frosting. Used 1 decorating tip and 2 designs on parchment. I feel I didn’t learn anything I didnt already know. The class didn’t match the description.

Chef Birdie taught a really fun and informative class. Everyone that attended enjoyed it thoroughly. I would recommend her highly. The salsas we made were delicious and her guacamole was fabulous. She also offered up various tweaks to make things to you/your groups liking as well as actionable knowledge to use at home. I appreciated the thoughtfulness of to go containers to use for leftovers, which she kindly offered at the end of our event.

Birdie is very sweet but the class was not as interactive as it could have been and it was definitively geared towards children—we made Cookie Monster ice cream with cheap ingredients. It was disappointing.

Birdie was awesome and laid things out for us in an easy and really fun way. We made cookies and cream ice cream that was delicious. We hope to do more classes in the future. If you’re interested in this class, do yourself and favor and sign up. It was a great time.
