Since graduating from Johnson & Wales University, Chef Joy has thrived in both culinary and hospitality roles. With experience as a sous chef, private chef and caterer, Chef Joy expresses creativity in the kitchen while tending to client needs. While appeasing picky eaters and accommodating special diets, the chef has fed everyone from resort guests to seniors and summer campers. Chef Joy is excited to welcome guests and help them master their kitchen skills.

Chef Joy was pleasant to be around but the class was not what the description said. It says you will make homemade pasta, but instead, all we did was "learn", really just watch, others chop vegetables. At most you got to chop one of the veggies for the sauce but not only were we not taught how to make pasta, the pasta came pre-cooked and he heated it under running hot water. If you want to learn to chop veggies, this class is great, but we just wanted to learn how to make homemade pasta. It was an expensive night... That thankfully my husband and I laugh over.

Chef Joy was great! But the class description online was misleading. Myself, as well as other participants, thought we'd be making home made pasta not just the sauce itself.

Chef Joy did not show up for our cooking class. We waited for about an hour waiting for him. Unreliable. Do not recommend booking with him.

The class was fun, Chef Joy did a great job explaining things and the food came out great. However the five of us that attended the class were under the impression that we were going to make our own pasta which was not the case, there was just already made spaghetti that was heated up. Other than that is was a pleasant experience.

We had such a great time at Chef Joy’s cooking class! Chef Joy did a great job of explaining how to do things, getting everyone involved, and overall making it a fun experience. Would highly recommend!
