Looking for a team building activity that's both fun and delicious? Join Chef Jenn for a Mexican culinary competition where your team will learn new cooking techniques and create gourmet dishes.
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and compete in a guacamole contest judged by expert Chef Jenn. You'll learn the secrets to making the perfect guac, and your team's creation will be evaluated based on both flavor and style. After the contest, enjoy a taco bar complete with vegetarian jackfruit al pastor filling, sizzling fajita vegetables and a variety of flavorful salsas. Sip on a refreshing pitcher of virgin sangria made from tropical fruits like mango and blood orange.
This team building activity is a fun and interactive way to encourage teamwork, creativity and culinary skills. So gather your team and get ready for a fun-filled and delicious day!
MENU
All necessary utensils will be provided by the chef. The venue is required to have access to sinks nearby, tables set-up to prep and garbage containers. Chefs are able to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes in advance.
Guacamole Competition
With avocados, poblano peppers, onions, pepitas and cotija cheese
DIY Vegetarian Taco Station
With tortillas, jackfruit al pastor, fajita vegetables, salsas and lettuce
Virgin Sangria
BYOB red or white wine optional
With mango purée, white grape juice, strawberry purée, limes and blood orange

I enjoyed Chef Jenn's teaching style and the class, but I would have liked more variety in the ingredients offered. We were taught to make 3 or 4 different styles of sushi and everything was made out of the same two ingredients - avocado and smoked salmon. I don't like smoked salmon and that was the only fish offered, so I didn't eat anything I made. To me, sushi is primarily raw fish, and I was excited about enjoying the food.
