Follow Chef Jimmy's lead as he shares gourmet techniques for handcrafting sushi that will impress your friends. Put your new skills to the test in a mini competition to end the event - in small groups you'll make sushi with fresh ingredients like crab, avocado and cucumber and be judged on your resulting rolls. Win bragging rights!

After completing military service, Chef Jimmy enrolled in culinary school. Upon completion of his culinary apprenticeship, he earned the title of "certified culinarian" from the American Culinary Federation. He then went on to work at some of the most prestigious properties in the country, including the Ritz Carlton Hotel and the Allison to name a few. He also acted as a culinary instructor at the secondary and post-secondary levels. In 2013, Chef was deemed one of the "Best Chefs in Louisiana" and voted among his chef peers as a "young gun".
