Cooking Class: Regional Mexican Street Food

Join Chef Catalina on an adventure into Mexican street food with this interactive cooking class. You'll learn how to prepare an elote salad with corn, Cotija cheese and chili powder. Next is al pastor tacos with homemade tortillas and marinated pork. The coastal region brings in shrimp aguachile with fresh herbs, cucumber and lime. For dessert, an arroz con leche ice pops with rice, cinnamon and rum. 


Elote Salad 

With corn, Cotija cheese, mayonnaise, chili powder and cilantro

Al Pastor Tacos 

With homemade tortillas, marinated pork and pineapple salsa

Shrimp Aguachile 

With fresh herbs, cucumber and lime

Arroz con Leche 

With rice, cinnamon, condensed milk, golden raisins and rum
