Elevate your cakes with the expert techniques you'll master in this hands-on cooking class. Chef Sarah will help you flourish artful cake designs and finishing touches using professional (yet easily learned) pastry decorating techniques.


You'll start the class by baking a classic vanilla layer cake to serve as the base of your designs, learning the methods needed to keep it perfectly moist and fluffy. Give the cake some depth and flavor with an indulgent macerated berry filling. Then, make a fluffy, decadent American buttercream that you'll use to create your cake decorations. Chef Sarah will teach you how to pipe borders, roses and inscriptions to customize your cakes like a real baker!

Chef Sarah is no newbie when it comes to teaching and it certainly shows in her classes! She is so detailed and talented and I could learn from her over and over again. She has competed on multiple Food Network Shows and her experience shines in her work. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a sweet treat cooking class!
