Cooking Class: "Golden Girls" Sicilian-Saint Olaf Menu
Join Chef Daniel in this cooking class inspired by the iconic foursome of The Golden Girls. You'll start with Blanche's "virgin" sloe fizz, a sparkling beverage prepared with seltzer, mixed berries, juniper and mint. Next up is Rose's Saint Olaf cheese ball with goat cheese, cheddar and almonds. Dorothy and Sophia's Sicilian heritage comes next with a classic Caesar salad and hearty lasagna. Dessert pays homage to Miami with a creamy cheesecake with graham crackers and passion fruit.

We had a wonderful time and experience at Chef’s Daniel Vietnamese Cooking Class. We met some very nice couples that contributed to the fun experience. Chef Daniel provided some awesome cooking tips while we prepared the delicious items in the course. After cooking we all sat down at the set table and devoured the delightful meal prepared by us and Chef Daniel. Thanks again for a great experience!

Last night I took Chef Daniel’s “Authentic Italian Comfort Food" class and had a wonderful time. I learned a lot and cannot wait to attempt some of the recipes at home. I was always too intimidated to attempt fresh pasta but with the right tools and techniques it doesn’t seem so daunting. Chef Daniel was also very welcoming and informative. I’d love to take another one of his classes one day!

After graduating from culinary school, Chef Daniel completed an internship in Umbria, Italy and became a sous chef shortly afterward, partnering with Iron Chef Jose Garces. He's spent the last five years as the go-to chef for a selection of eateries within a restaurant group that has helped elevate a neighborhood in disrepair into a desirable upscale destination.
