Under the guidance of Chef Carlos in this engaging cooking class, you'll apply classic French culinary techniques to prepare an innovative and modern dinner menu featuring fresh, regional ingredients. You'll create rich sauces and fillings while also refining your culinary technique, including knife skills, how to best pair flavors and baking tips. To begin, enjoy a savory black olive tapenade over crisp crostini. Then, you will prepare sea bass almondine with a zesty lemon beurre blanc, served alongside a rainbow of roasted root vegetables. For dessert, indulge in a beloved French patisserie classic: made-from-scratch chocolate eclairs.

Chef Carlos is a well traveled chef who has experience in many international cuisines. He showed me a technique to cook a tomato to remove the skin and seeds. This was a technique I plan to use for future recipes. He is knowledgeable and excited to share his passion with his guests.
