Cooking Class: The Art of Gyoza and Dumplings
Explore Japanese cooking techniques in this immersive cooking class with a local chef.
Start the class by simmering a rich beef broth seasoned with garlic, ginger and soy sauce. Practice your knife skills as you chop fresh vegetables, including shiitake and cremini mushrooms, bok choy, carrots and green onions. Add tender beef to your broth before finishing your ramen with a soft egg, chili flakes and sesame seeds. Then, make a vegetable gyoza filling with tofu and cabbage, seasoned with ginger and garlic and learn the technique to pan-fry them until golden brown and crispy.
