Chef Ricky's Sushi class was amazing and we had such a wonderful time! The sushi was delicious and he made it easy to learn. We thoroughly enjoyed his knowledge of food and culture. His house is beautiful and we enjoyed all of the interesting pieces of art in his house and all of the fun gadgets and decor in his kitchen. Thanks Ricky! I'm sure we'll be seeing you again!

My family had a wonderful time learning and cooking with Chef Ricky. He is not only very knowledgeable about the recipes, but also about their origins and history. He kept us engaged the entire time, and we came out of the class with a much deeper appreciation for Vietnamese cuisine. From crafting flavorful pho and fresh spring rolls, to assembling the perfect bánh mì and finishing with sweet mango sticky rice, every dish was hands-on, fun, and absolutely delicious. We left with both full stomachs and the confidence to recreate these dishes at home. Highly recommend this class for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable culinary experience

I have been wanting to learn about sous vide for a long time. In fact, my husband and I are now looking at purchasing a sous vide and vacuum sealer! I recommend Chef Ricky for this class and others. I’m hoping to do a sushi class with him next. The food was delicious and the best part is I learned how to make it! Chef Ricky keeps you engaged in the process step by step and very entertaining with his knowledge of food and cooking. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.

Chef Ricky’s sushi experience was 10/10. He’s professional but has a good sense of humor. He offered a short history on each ingredient in the sushi which I thought was really cool, and there was more than enough sushi to get us full. I would do this again in a heart beat and can’t wait to try other classes he offers.

Chef Ricky is a wonderful teacher. We had a great time learning new skills and creating delicious food. Chef takes his time and doesn't rush through the class. He gives hands on help if needed. Each person in the class had their own workstation and got to prepare their own dishes. I can't say enough about the experience. You can't go wrong taking a class with Chef Ricky in his amazing kitchen. We can't wait to take another class on our next FL trip.

Chef Ricky was wonderful! The course was very informative, it was so interesting to not just learn the techniques but also the history behind everything from the ingredients to the naming. He took his time explaining things to us. The food was absolutely top tier best sushi I've ever had! He uses excellent ingredients and made sure to let us know which ones so we can get them in the future when we make it on our own. He also gave us the sushi mats we used. Hygiene was maintained throughout as well from washing our hands, wearing gloves, and disinfecting our boards/tools in between different sushi rolls. All in all amazing course, highly recommend! Very fun, interactive, and informative. I feel very comfortable making my own sushi at home now! Thank you chef!

Chef Ricky was exceptionally knowledgeable and had all the prep work done to amenable us to complete pasta dough, shrimp scampi, lasagna, ratatouille and cannolis in 2.5 hours. We git hands on experience with each step. Highly recommend this class.

This was such a fun class! Ricky made it very engaging and informative. Only 4 people in the class at his house, which made it intimate and not intimidating. We even got to take home a ton of leftovers! All the food was great. Definitely worth the money. Will be doing more classes with Ricky.

Let me just start with Chef Ricky is beyond amazing and attending a cooking class with him will leave you with no regrets. I surprised my husband with a cooking class date and boy was he surprised. We arrived to the address provided for the Sous Vide Cooking class and upon arrival we were a little confused being it was located in a residential neighborhood. Once we entered the location we were blown away. The kitchen was stunning and the hospitality was warming! We felt so welcomed and ready to take on the challenge in the kitchen, though it wasn’t a challenge at all with chef. Chef Ricky was great at breaking down all the steps that went into the meal we were preparing down to the science of some of the machines we used. He made it extremely fun, as cooking should be. Chefs knowledge on life it’s self was maybe my favorite part of it all. We came home with more knowledge than just cooking. Janet (chefs wife) was also fabulous. From her beautiful conversation to her above and beyond hospitality. Sending us home with hot coffee and cookies straights from Hawaii. There is no doubt that will we be booking another class with chef Ricky. We are so grateful to have had such a wonderful opportunity and experience!
