Cooking Class: Fusion Flavors for Healthy Living

During this in-person cooking class, you'll learn how to prepare four dishes that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chef Laura blends Asian, Latin American and Mediterranean flavors into her recipes to create quick and healthy dishes filled with flavor. Selections include vibrant roasted beet hummus, cilantro lime salmon and a zesty quinoa salad with tomatoes, spinach and cilantro. Dessert is oatmeal crumb bars with a medley of blueberries, strawberries and blackberries. 


Roasted Beet Hummus With Toasted Pita

With cilantro pesto, lemon, sour cream, garlic, honey and avocado oil

Lemon-Pepper Roasted Salmon With Cilantro-Lime Sauce

With beets, tahini, cashews and olive oil

Zesty Quinoa Salad

With cherry tomatoes, cucumber, spinach, cilantro and feta

Berry Medley Oatmeal Crumb Bars

With blackberries, strawberries, vanilla, butter, turbinado sugar and eggs

We gifted this class to my mom for her birthday. Our whole family had a marvelous time. We also enjoyed the company of the two people who signed up for the class. The kitchen was beautiful, we got our own cooking stations, and whatever was leftover we got to take home. FIVE STARS!!!

Great experience! Chef Laura was amazing and a great teacher. She made the cooking so easy for us. Chef Laura was very knowledgeable, informative and constantly engaging with everyone in the class. She made everyone feel comfortable in her home. She also had everything planned and detail by packing all our left overs in nice containers and bags. The food She taught us to cook was delicious! Specially the dessert. Overall a great experience!

Chef Laura is very talented and her home and kitchen are perfect for teaching classes. We made a sugar cookie dough, royal icing and a chocolate ganache. Dulce de Le he was provide for decorating. Laura gave us good tips in how to roll out the dough and she taught us different techniques in decorating cookies. Everything was delicious!
