Explore the authentic flavors of Mexican cuisine to make comforting dishes in this hands-on cooking class. Chef Jordan will teach you time-honored techniques to make four delicious courses. To begin the class, you'll make esquites, Mexican street corn salad topped with Cotija cheese, fresh aioli and spicy jalapeños. Next, make savory chorizo quesadillas with Oaxaca cheese with salsa and crema for dipping. Make authentic birria tacos with oxtails and beef shanks with a sprinkle of Oaxaca cheese and hot chilis. For dessert, churros fried golden brown dusted with cinnamon sugar and a chocolate dipping sauce.
