We really enjoyed the sushi rolling class at Church street brewing! It was a great instruction with Chef Jen and it gave me confidence to try something new. She did a great job explaining the techniques and seasoning and made it easy to understand. This was my first cooking class I’ve ever tried, and I will definitely do this again soon!

I enjoyed learning how to assemble 2 simple sushi roll types, and feel confident I could now do the same at home. Unfortunately, I found the workspace to be a bit cramped, and Jen was hard to hear above the general bar noise. A microphone and speaker would have been the way to go. Also, it was hard to see what she was doing from my seat, so a mirror behind/above her would have been helpful.

This class was absolutely wonderful and super fun! She also did something extra and made brownies for the class. The only thing I wish was that the venue had of separated us from the non-class patrons. The teacher managed to teacher through it and did a wonderful job! Looking forward to going to another class. Beautiful soul, her and her husband!

The class was super fun, it was very helpful to be able to see chef Jen prepping the ingredients so that they all cooked quickly and easily, and this is going to be a recipe that I come back to frequently. Absolutely a greatway to end the week! Chef Jen was really great and funt to learn from.
