Omg! I had a great time! It was fun learning how to make sushi. Chef Sheena really made it enjoyable to learn how to make sushi. I will definitely do this again.

The chef did a great job breaking the ice and creating a comfortable environment but it was more of a social thing then actually learning to make quality sushi. The rice was really hard and there was no tuna as advertised. Apparently, she couldn’t get a hold of tuna. I would have expected a suitable alternative though. Instead, we used only imitation crabmeat.

We had a good time overall. We learned a couple of things. The sushi rice didn’t seem that fresh or the condiments. There was no avocado, and no tuna because the chef “couldn’t find any”, in South Florida? We had imitation crab and some shrimp but not a lot of shrimp.

Chef Sheena is a amazing. I feel like I should be looking for Sushi Chef jobs now! She’s fun, helpful, and knowledgeable of everything she teaches. I would recommend her classes to everyone!

Chef Sheena was such an incredible host. The drinks were flowing, the food was tasty, and the vibes were just right. Every course began with a brief description, which built the suspense! This experience is perfect for - girls night out, family time, and or a special interactive date. I can not wait to do it again! I highly recommend.

Chef Sheena provides such an amazing 5 star experience. Coming from a family who bonds over cooking, Sheena was so welcoming and instantly made you feel like family. She breaks down all ingredients, techniques and talks about pairing different foods together for a soul warming meal. Anyone at any level of cooking experience or different dietary needs can partake and you will not be disappointed. This is a great experience for date night, a night out with your friends, a family affair or if you just want to love on yourself some by learning something new solo. Sheena is one of the sweetest passionate chef’s I’ve ever had the opportunity to do something like this with and I look forward to doing this again!

I highly recommend Chef Sheena for classes and private lessons! As soon as I entered for a group class the playlist made me feel like I was home with family which set me instantly at ease to be engaged in the cooking demonstration. Chef Sheena was juggling cooking, demonstrating, entertaining with food related games AND conversing with the students; but somehow made it look easy. Her friendly yet focused, organized yet laid back demeanor was as perfectly balanced as the dishes she served. 10/10!
