Have you always wanted to learn how to make homemade sushi? This introduction to sushi-making is the perfect class for you.
Chef Andy will teach you how to make sushi completely from scratch, regardless of how much experience you have. Learn proper Japanese knife skills, rolling techniques and ingredient pairing as you make your own maki filled with salmon, vegetables and a touch of wasabi.
Cooking Classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.

Waste of money. Dark bar not conducive to cutting or learning Sub bar ingredients-did not pay for FARM RAISED Fish

My wife and I had fun with Chef Andy's assistant for The Bear themed class. Even took home a jar of our own giardiniera. This would be a good class for absolute beginners. My wife has done a lot of cooking so we would look for a more advanced class next time.

After graduating from the Illinois Institute of Art, Chef Andy gained years of experience in the kitchen as a cooking instructor and online as a food blogger. From sushi to classic European cuisine to molecular gastronomy, he really can do it all, and looks forward to sharing secrets and techniques you can use to boost your kitchen confidence.
