Janet was great at instructing us on how to make homemade pasta. She brought the beef and pasta sauce, so you’re not cooking that part. I liked it this way, because after a long work day I wasn’t wanting to make all parts of a pasta ourselves. It was focused on making the dough, pressing it and then cutting it. I like that it was at a brewery. We could grab a beer while cooking. She was great about walking around and giving us tips to make sure we are doing the steps just right.

I loved this pasta making class! Chef Janet explained everything so well and if you were stuck, she definitely helped! I would take this class again, or her other classes!

After attending culinary school in the 1980s, Chef Janet deepened her culinary journey while living in Taiwan and Hong Kong, where she also began her career as a high school teacher.
