Cooking Class: Perfecting the Preparation of Pasta

If fresh pasta is on your home dining menu, this in-person cooking class with Chef Janet is just for you! You'll learn how simple it is to transform wholesome ingredients into fabulous pasta to serve your friends and family.

Start your cooking lesson by mixing together eggs, flour and oil to form a traditional dough, then cut it into impeccable pasta strips. Next, finely dice onions, mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes to prepare a rich Marinara sauce that will beautifully complement your pasta. Incorporate beef into your sauce for a meaty variation or opt to maintain a vegetarian version.

Chef Janet was kind but I didn’t expect the class to be a bit better. We used paper plates, we were in close proximity with others, and it was in the middle of brewery that had alters inside and even witchcraft and demonology papers plastered all over the bathroom so it was a bit uncomfortable at first. Luckily I was there with a close friend so we made it a fun evening. I would not take another class not at this location atleast.

Very overpriced for what you get, basically rolling pasta dough in the middle of the brewery - with little instruction or tools. The alfredo sauce and chicken lacked flavor and were not “instructed” to us at all, rather the instructor dumped them in a pot and left us to talk in small groups. The “facilities” of the cooking class were various burners set up on a plastic tablecloth, that blew the fuse several times causing the cooking food to go cold. It wasn’t a bad evening but grossly overpriced and left a grimy feeling in your mouth.
