The chef messed up the gnocchi dough so badly that it was literally inedible. He offered to give the class refunds or to reschedule but never responded when we reached out to him.

Loved Chef Jesse’s knowledge, energy, and patience with the class! While class was scheduled on a holiday, myself and my husband did not feel the class was rushed at all, but rather people got the attention and time they needed! We took the art of sushi making class and both look forward to other classes hosted by Chef Jesse!

Jesse was such a joy to take a class with! The sushi making class was very informative and fun. Jesse has a lot of knowledge around food in general and dropped so many nuggets of wisdom. I also appreciated his relationship to food and cooking, especially the respect he holds for all the ingredients! I also appreciated his flexibility with letting me and my boyfriend reschedule this class. While Classpop couldnt give me a refund/exchange, they connected me to Jesse and he worked diligently with me to find a class date that would work! 10/10

overall a good experience. Though I felt that the majority of the time was spent on basic kitchen etiquette, such as holding a knife, walking with a knife. Using your insta-pot at home for rice. We spent little time actually working with sushi or eating food

After reading previous reviews I really didn’t know what to expect but this class was awesome. Chef Jesse was very informative and I learned a lot about sushi. We got to make two rolls and they were delicious. He was also very informative about cooking questions that we had not just rested to sushi. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Fun night, very chill setting. You sit at the bar and watch Jesse make the food. You can get involved with rolling and cutting the gnocchi at the end. Jesse is very knowledgeable and we learned a few things. Not a lot of hands on involvement. We were able to have a few bites of food at the end but I would eat dinner before going. Good beer selection at location, two choices for wine.

Jesse was very friendly and he explained and demonstrated how to make the marinara and gnocchi very well. The tastings at the end were yummy, and it was fun to get our hands a little dirty. Thank you, Jesse!

The class was great and learned a lot. was disappointed that there wasn't enough product for everyone to create their own sushi roll. Only the 5 sitting at the bar each made their own, where the table of 6 people made a role (per couple).

We had fun at this class except the location was not ideal. The room was too loud, we could hardly see or hear Chef Jesse because the class was so large and the music from the cidery was loud. Also, we only got to make one sushi roll instead of 2. It was not super organized, we had to wait a long time for Chef to cut ingredients for us. I thought that he would have most of them prepped before arriving. For the money, I expected to make the 2 rolls that I paid for. I would not go again.

I thought everyone would get to make 2 sushi rolls each. I came hungry expecting to get dinner. Oops. Chef Jesse was amazing however! I just think the location and the situation didn't work out.

I thought the session would be more hands-on, but it was mostly watching the chef cook. I also thought we would each get to make and eat a full serving of the meal for dinner, but we ran out of time and only got to taste it.
