Cooking Class: Pasta Making With Chef Sarah
Enjoy this pasta cooking class where you'll mix, shape and sample your way through fresh pasta-making.
Roll up your sleeves and dive into the cozy joy of homemade pasta in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Sarah. You’ll start with just flour, water and salt as you learn how to mix and knead your own egg-free pasta dough from scratch. While the dough rests, you’ll work as a group with a prepared batch to practice rolling and cutting pasta with a machine. Then, discover simple hand-shaping techniques that prove you don’t need special equipment to make fresh pasta.
As you shape your pasta, Chef Sarah will demonstrate how to prepare a buttery sage sauce with garlic and lemon, then cook the fresh noodles until perfectly tender. At the end of class, you’ll sample the pasta made during the session and take home a full batch of fresh pasta to cook within the next three days.

I had a great time at the lesson. Sarah is a super down to earth person and really knows her stuff. Would definitely recommend taking the class if you want to know more about pasta in general.

This was described and advertised as a fun, interactive, hands on pasta making class where you learn all the steps to making pasta with guidance and help. This was not the case. First off, you don’t even cook the pasta in the class. You spend the class listening, and playing with dough that is made with two simple pre measured ingredients. Most of the class was us standing around a table watching. We were given one single tool to share between us to “shape” the pasta, the shape options were flattening the dough against a table for smooth surface and a fork for a spiral look. We spent maybe about 20 minutes shaping and making our pasta while the rest of the two hour class was us watching and listening. I’m extremely disappointed with how the event was advertised versus how it actually played out in person.
