Chef Josh will provide a hands-on experience preparing a menu of homemade sushi using fresh, high-quality ingredients and traditional Japanese culinary techniques.
The evening starts with a lesson on how to brew a batch of authentic miso soup from scratch. Chef Josh shows you two types of sushi. First up, prepare nigiri featuring fresh salmon, tuna, and escolar. Next, put together your own sushi rolls, mix and match flavors. Finish the evening with a sweet treat in the form of sweet green tea rice.
Chef Josh began his culinary career at an early age. After working at a country club at age 13, he followed his dream of becoming a chef. He has worked in a variety of restaurants preparing a wide array of different cuisines. Chef Josh enjoys learning new skills, perfecting his craft and adding to his culinary repertoire. He's ready to share his knowledge and experience with his students.
