Cooking Class: Three-Course Seasonal Russian Menu

Chef Inga shares her tips and techniques for creating traditional Russian recipes in these cooking classes. You'll start by learning how to prepare oven-baked eggplant slices with Parmesan, parsley and panko bread crumbs. Your entrée is a traditional chicken stroganoff with mushrooms and onions paired with skillet roasted potatoes and chive butter. Dessert is dark chocolate kolbasa "sausage" topped with cookies and walnuts. 


Oven-Baked Eggplant Slices 

 With olive oil, eggs, panko bread crumbs, grated Parmesan and parsley

Chicken Stroganoff 

 With half and half, mushrooms and onions

Skillet Roasted Potatoes 

With chive butter

Dark Chocolate Kolbasa

With plain cookies, butter and walnuts

This class was very exciting. We learned about food composition. Color, texture, flavor, spice, sweet, savory and so much more. She gave us an insight into Thai food and we had a great time!
