My brother and I had a fantastic time! The attendees were split into two. First group (half of each pair) followed Chef Melanie’s steps to making rolls. This allowed all of the partners to take photos and take in the information. Then the groups swapped and the individuals initially receiving the lesson, were now the ones behind the camera taking photos and supporting, some laughing, at/with the other half of their group.It was a lot of fun. Chef Melanie was prepared with the premade rice mounds, nori, sliced tuna, cucumbers, and avocados. The evening went smoothly. Would love to do this again with another family member. Thank you for a great evening, Chef Melanie.

My husband and I really enjoyed our time with Chef Melanie and a small group learning to make sushi! Her approach was straightforward and easy to follow, and she was encouraging towards everyone (those with little experience in the kitchen and those further along). She was easy to talk with, and gave some good feedback on how to improve our technique and where to shop if we were interested in trying to make sushi at home. 5/5 stars!
