Cooking Class: Authentic Italian From Scratch

Learn how to prepare authentic Italian dishes from scratch in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Carlos. During this fun and engaging class, Chef Carlos will share with you expert tips and tricks to perfect all sorts of cooking techniques from frying and sous vide to developing rich, flavorful sauces. You'll begin you Italian-inspired meal with a classic appetizer of fried arancini before making a traditional pomodoro sauce, which you'll serve alongside a sous vide chicken puttanesca and creamy pimento rojo polenta with roasted red peppers. Finally, your evening will end on a sweet note as you learn how to whip up panna cotta with lemon, blueberries and a hint of rum.

Chef Carlos is a well traveled chef who has experience in many international cuisines. He showed me a technique to cook a tomato to remove the skin and seeds. This was a technique I plan to use for future recipes. He is knowledgeable and excited to share his passion with his guests.
