Cooking Class: Foundations of Chocolate
In this hands-on cooking class, explore the world of chocolate with Chef Sima. Learn to make a variety of decadent chocolate treats while practicing foundational techniques such as tempering. Begin by learning how to handle chocolate from tempering to finished product as you create crunchy pralines with two types of chocolate. Next, prepare rich ganache and truffles flavored with raspberries, coffee, nuts or brandy. Celebrate your new skills with fun games using the leftover chocolate before heading home with your homemade sweets.
