Cooking Class: Dazzling Farmers Market Dinner

In this hands-on cooking class, you’ll utilize fresh ingredients, all sourced from the local farmers market in San Diego, to create stunning flavors. Chef Cheryl will teach you how to whip up a variety of delicious dishes, starting with a refreshing baby lettuce salad topped with a tangy lemon-citrus vinaigrette, candied walnuts, seasonal fruit and goat cheese. Next, you’ll handcraft gorgeous gnocchi, served with fresh local fish — yellowfin, rockfish or halibut — seared in a cast iron pan. For dessert, Chef Cheryl will teach you how to make a batch of sublime strawberry shortcakes.
