Aerated desserts such as mousse can seem intimidating to make and even trickier to perfect; this hands-on cooking class with Chef Zach will help demystify the techniques behind making three different styles of restaurant quality chocolate mousse at home. Starting with an eggless dark chocolate mousse, you will practice the foundational skills to make this light and airy dessert. You will then incorporate flavor pairings as you create a creamy white chocolate crémeux mousse accompanied by fresh strawberries and a rich milk chocolate mocha mousse topped with dark chocolate shavings.

Chef Zach is very knowledgable about chocolate, and we enjoyed the class. I think the venue was not the best for this, as he had to move around a lot to try to get everyone to hear the presentation. Other than that, it was very good.

Chef Zach is a very knowledgeable chocolatier and teacher. This is my second class with him and he is always helpful. I even called him when I had an issue with a recipe and he helped me fix it. My only issue was the venue. It was hard to hear.

Fun and informative. Going over the theory and science behind what we were doing and then actually doing it hands on was good. Chef Zach is very knowledgeable and experienced.

Chef Zach was a wonderful instructor with advice for hobbyists and seasoned bakers alike, plus plenty of colorful anecdotes from his work and travels to spice up the class. And the food was delicious! I will definitely be using his methods and recipe in the future.
